How to create an icon to start up a screensaver in Windows Vista?
- Go to c:/windows/system32.
- Sometimes windows is installed other drive than c:, use it accordingly.
- If you know the name of the screensaver you want to invoke, just scroll to its name. Or sort the files by type. You need filetypr “.scr”.
- Select a screensaver for the list, right-click on a screensaver file and choose “Test” to be sure that it is the one you want to use.
- Right-click on the screensaver you want to use, point to “Send to” and click on “Desktop”. This will create a desktop shortcut of the screensaver.
