How we began
In long 2009 the founder of this website, Alex, was invited to his friend to help him with his new bought computer. When everything needed with a PC was done, the first thing this friend did, he went searching for a free screensaver with a clock. He succeeded, but with a free screensaver he downloaded a huge amount of viruses.
At that very minute to the future founder of www.newfreescreensavers.com came an idea to create a user-friendly website with free and safe screensavers.
It was very simple in design; the screensavers were free and safe. More and more lovers of screensavers started visiting it and downloading screensavers. Users asked more.
Times fly and soon Alex decided to employ designers and programmers to work with the website. In order to keep screensavers free for visitors of www.newfreescreensavers.com the website was monetized. The installations were bound with third party developers, google ads appeared on the website. All these things helped to earn money and develop free and safe screensavers. Anyway many users did not like the idea with ads showing in the installations, because their anty-virus programs showed warning messages, as lately screensavers had been used by “bad people” for installing viruses to users computers. More over google made some changes. So changed Newfreescreensavers.com
We have stopped showing other products ads in the installations, but still show google ads as they help us to develop for your absolutely clean and free screensavers for Windows and Mac.
